Delighted to announce the release of the second single from the world's first specifically commissioned metaverse soundtrack.
This work accompanies Everdome’s users as they take their first steps inside the Everdome Cycler, our vast interplanetary vessel which will take our intrepid metaverse pioneers from Earth's Lower Orbit to Mars.
Wojciech Urbański, composer and music producer, publishes the second single from Everdome’s original metaverse. "Machine Phoenix," the first single, pictured the launch of EVR rockets into Earth orbit, while "The Cycler," the second single, describes approaching an interplanetary spacecraft and starting a 120-day journey to Mars.
The title of the song "The Cycler" is taken from the Everdome Cycler interplanetary vessel, which was itself inspired by the astronaut Buzz Aldrin's theory of relative movements and positions of the Earth and Mars to determine the gravity-assist trajectories and orbital route of a perpetually cycling reusable spacecraft.
"The Cycler" is a track with multiple stages. Its first phase reflects the theme of the rocket escaping Earth's gravity. The second part of the piece is the process of circum-orbital navigation and precise, calm docking with a much larger interplanetary ship - the Everdome Cycler. The third part illustrates the beginning of the Everdome Cycler's long journey to Mars.
The composer, Wojciech Urbański states:
‘’My approach to composition and sound is my answer to how I feel about the infinity of the cosmos. The more we enlarge the image of the cosmos, the more details emerge to us, and lead back in fact to infinity.''
Łukasz Alwast, Worldbuilding Director of Everdome adds:

The Everdome Cycler spacecraft was designed by concept artist Lino Thomas. The author of the cover and the accompanying visualization is the artist and architect Wojciech Fikus.
Released by Urbanski’s Dyspensa Records label, ‘’The Cycler’’ is available from the 9th of December 2022 on all major music distribution platforms including Spotify, Tidal and Youtube.
