During our recent CEO AMA with members of our community, we previewed the use of video media inside the space.
Now we are delighted to announce that video functionality is now supported in spaces - and is ready for all our creators to make use of, adding another layer to the available media mix inside your personal corner of the metaverse.
Adding video media to your space is easy. You can use both horizontal image areas to add video, and it can be added to your space when you first design the layout. Just follow the steps below.
1. Go to create space here and connect your wallet
2. Create the space as usual.
3. Add video in the horizontal media areas.
Videos should be:
- 16:9 ratio (horizontal)
- In mp4 or .mov formats
- They can be any duration, but the file size needs to be 100 MB maximum
To watch a video inside the completed space - simply move your avatar next to the video and enjoy.
