As creation of our Mars environment continues apace ahead of our Mars Landing Event scheduled for Q2 this year, we present an exclusive sneak preview of the first stages of our Martian transit infrastructure - our Mars Magnetic Rail system.

Our civilization is based on a network of reliable mass transit systems to ferry people, supplies and workers between Everdome city, Jezero Spaceport and nearby destinations.

As we remain faithful to our commitment of creating a hyper-realistic world grounded in feasible science, construction of a realistic mass transit system suited to Martian conditions is a uniquely complex challenge, but we have also discovered that Mars conditions provide equally unique benefits.

The Martian environment allows construction of our Mars Magnetic Rail to be vastly more efficient than a similar Earth based project, bringing significant savings in building time and materials. Mars gravity conditions allow wider gaps between support pylons while also making it dramatically easier to suspend a bridge across the chasm of Lavatube Canyon.

Furthermore, the lower atmospheric pressure of Mars leads to greatly reduced air resistance as compared to Earth, which when combined with the planned magnetic suspension, vastly minimizes rail friction, allowing rapid, energy efficient transport of goods and people.

Energy efficient electromagnetic suspension is then achieved due to bespoke development of superconductors tailored to operate in Martian conditions of lower atmospheric pressure.

This demonstrates how concepts barely possible on Earth become preferable technologies for environments with lower gravity, pressure and temperature.

The main threat to the operation of the monorail's electromagnetic tracks is the accumulation of  electrically charged regolith, a blanket of dust and broken rocks, which sticks to metallic surfaces, accumulates and creates friction between the monorail and track.

Our solution involves a self-cleaning mechanism, where the rails induce an opposite charge to repel accumulated regolith particles during maintenance hours.

Consideration of these factors is a key part of Everdome’s research and work. The construction of our imagined world is not simply pulled from a science fiction fever dream, but carefully ideated according to space science research and analysis of theoretically possible future space architecture, while still developing the potential for immersive and VR-gaming entertainment features.

Our work in committing to feasible scientific principles demonstrates the difference between Everdome and other metaverse destinations, as our team of concept artists, developers and game designers work closely with scientific advisers and researchers to build a digital world unparalleled in rich, believable detail.

This detail will provide a truly hyper-realistic base environment for multiple in-world experiences, from Everdome constructed game adventures to totally new creations dreamt up by our future community.

Prepare yourselves for more sneak previews of our Mars environment coming soon, along with information about our Tier-3 access launch event.
