Everdome Inside the Metaverse Landscape

Completing our series on the metaverse landscape of use cases, we summarize the positioning of Everdome in this landscape, the importance of a creator economy, and discuss some of our future goals & vision as a metaverse experience pioneer.

Completing our series on the metaverse landscape of use cases, we summarize the positioning of Everdome in this landscape, the importance of a creator economy, and discuss some of our future goals & vision as a metaverse experience pioneer.

From our previous articles in this series, we identified the Industrial Metaverse, Educational Metaverse, Enterprise Metaverse and the Consumer Metaverse as four key use case pillars of a future metaverse landscape.

However, these different elements have significant crossover, interaction and commonalities, as elements of gamification, socializing and discovery are shared across all metaverse experiences.

Furthermore, use cases of the Industrial Metaverse will be used by enterprises, elements of the Enterprise Metaverse are directly related to the Consumer metaverse, while parts of the Educational Metaverse are relevant to all.

We see Everdome’s positioning at the convergence of the Educational, Enterprise and Consumer Metaverse use cases. But why is this?

Everdome’s core experience is a perfect place for learning about space and Mars exploration in a hyper-realistic and immersive environment. We are already exploring ways to augment our foundational layer with further educational experiences.

A key goal for Everdome is to provide enterprise solutions for brands looking to establish or improve their metaverse footprint. We have already seen this in our work with Alfa Romeo F1 Team and OKX, while we are currently working on a new product to make it easier for brands to start their metaverse journey.

Additionally, adding in-experience brand marketing and shopping destinations as part of a Consumer Metaverse use case remains one of our goals, working with partners whose appetite for the extraordinary matches ours.

When speaking about the consumer metaverse, the potential for gaming and entertainment within Everdome is also clear. Our Moon Skimmer experience was just a test case of how gamified adventure can take its place inside our Mars environment.

So how are these different use cases tied together in Everdome. The answer lies in a mixture of social, gaming and content creator serving elements.

We believe that in Everdome, and indeed across any powerful metaverse experience, key elements are community, content creation, gamification and interaction.

Gaming and gamification are vital to powerful metaverse experiences. While Everdome itself is not simply a game, gamification runs through the heart of our metaverse adventure.

Also, one of the most compelling aspects of the metaverse is its ability to foster more meaningful social connections, bringing people together in fresh ways.

Whether it’s attending virtual concerts, participating in virtual conferences, or simply hanging out with friends in a shared virtual space, the metaverse provides a space for social interactions transcending geographical limitations, and more natural, tactile and intuitive than video chat or conferencing.  

Such improved connectivity will allow deeper collaboration between like-minded individuals and powerful community building based on shared interests and passions.

Collaboration leads to our next point, and a key element of Everdome’s vision - facilitating connectivity between brands, individuals and content creators, and paving a way to user generated content and serving content creators.

We plan to create beta areas for individuals, content creators and brands to showcase their ideas and creations in a first easy step into a metaverse future. Everdome needs to have a vibrant and active community of creators as we build a better future together.

This is why we will also be showing first looks at a B2Cr - business to creator economy aspect, as we continue to connect the pieces of our unique metaverse destination for the benefit of all - Genesis NFT holders, landholders, $DOME holders alike.

Everdome will not build the metaverse alone, so a key future goal is to build features around a MaaS - Metaverse-As-A-Service platform concept, empowering brands, individuals and creators to build aspects of Everdome within these Enterprise, Educational and Consumer metaverse use cases.
