Everdome kicks off what promises to be a very busy year of events with our attendance at Saudi Arabia’s LEAP Technology Conference, where our COO, Jeremy Lopez and our CGO Artur Kaczmarczyk will fly the flag for Everdome.
Saudi Arabia is a growing presence in the metaverse space, with the Kingdom’s communications minister announcing their ambitious plans to double down on talent and technology across the metaverse space during the WEF at Davos.
Throughout 2022 Saudi Arabia has invested circa $1 billion in metaverse related projects, including a digital twin metaverse – a 3D virtual space where people can envision the future.
Other large metaverse native projects in Saudi Arabia include a virtual philanthropy center launched in 2022 by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, while a virtual celebration for Saudi Arabia’s National Day is planned to debut this year on a Metaverse platform.
LEAP is an international and multi award-winning technology festival held in Saudi Arabia, attracting exhibitors, speakers and attendees from across the pioneering technology space and beyond.
Speakers are drawn from major technology companies including Google, Intel and Animoca Brands, whilst the diverse fellow attendees include representatives from major sporting teams such as Paris Saint Germain football club, NASA astronauts such as Susan Kilrain, sporting legends including footballer Thierry Henry, as well as a host of exhibitors from both the Web2 and Web spaces.
