As the Everdome team keeps their heads down and builds, we wanted to explain some more detail about our development process, as well as the vital role that our community plays in supporting, shaping and powering construction of our pioneering digital civilization.

Creating an environment to support multi-user experiences in an extremely high-fidelity landscape is a major task. Indeed, some major complex games have taken up to five years to complete. Everdome moves faster than this.

Everdome is taking a unique approach by not only building in full view of our dedicated community, but also through involving them directly in the key stages of release, iteration and improvement.

Our team moves ahead as fast as possible to create all the first versions of our key in-world destinations. Hatta Spaceport, the EVR Phoenix Rockets, the Everdome Cycler, Jezero Spaceport, our Mars landing experience as well as multiple in-world destinations.

Creation Process
Our process of creation works something like this. Firstly, the Everdome team creates the concepts for parts of our environment in collaboration with our team of space architects and scientific advisors.

During this initial sketch and planning phase, we also devise the potential for gamified elements and the concept’s place within the overall Everdome story and economy, showing how it adds to our uniquely hyper-realistic Martian world vision.

Then, it's up to our 3D artists, animators and programmers to get to work on transforming these artistic concepts into a living, breathing piece of immersive experience inside Everdome’s metaverse adventure.

Testing Process
As the destinations are created, they go through a series of tests to ensure stability, functionality and the desired experiential outcome for our end users. The Everdome team makes internal alpha tests, before allowing a limited release to our Tiered NFT holders group.

These beta releases are completely vital to our construction process and feedback loop. From the outset, Everdome planned to constantly involve our community in development, which is one reason for our tiered holder system.

Building complex, multiplayer and high-fidelity environments is… well… complex. There are many issues which cannot be foreseen until we have more users inside our experience at one time.

So our tiered release system is created to gradually test our experience - from single users, to tens, to hundreds and to thousands.

Community Role
What this means is that members of the Everdome community really play a unique and vital role in shaping our development, and can truly call themselves metaverse pioneers. They have the best seats in the house to witness the growth of a transformational technology.

But this isn’t all. Through the support of Everdome’s community in joining our experiences as they are released, giving honest feedback, Everdome can build faster, stronger and better.

So, while we have asked for patience when releasing different parts of our experience due to the presence of bugs or issues, this is also an expected and vital part of our process.

But even when these first releases are complete for our community, this is just the beginning of our work. The Everdome team then returns to each part of our experience, adding layers of detail as well as experiential, gamified adventures.

Our team is now in full building mode, with some exciting things on the horizon with Tier-3 access, a Mars landing experience as well as more details of first looks at Martian in-world destinations and features coming soon.

We are truly excited to be on the cusp of sharing all these with our community before giving the whole world a chance to be part of the Everdome experience towards the end of 2023.

The journey has not just begun, but is well on the way to an exciting, immersive and diverse future of digital discovery.
