Continuing our series looking back at some key Everdome moments in 2022, we cannot ignore the first launches of our Everdome Phoenix Rocket fleet.
Live streamed to the world via our YouTube channel, the team was eagerly anticipating the event with a similar mix of emotions to those working on real world rocket missions.
Thousands of supporters joined us for this metaverse landmark event, and many more of you, almost 20,000, have watched the recorded video since the launch.
As the culmination of months of ideation, development and design, we witnessed the first launches of Everdome Phoenix Rockets (EVR Phoenix), a spaceship design inspired by viable technologies, created in collaboration with the project’s space scientist partners.
Leaving the confines of the Earth from our futuristic Hatta Spaceport, our Everdome Phoenix fleet made their rendezvous in Earth’s lower orbit with the immense Everdome Cycler.
The very first launch of our Everdome Phoenix rockets was a great success, and we were delighted to share both this initial metaverse adventure, and also the first looks at the interior of our Everdome Cycler, with our community and the wider world.
Our team was very excited to see our work come to life so vividly, and we gained invaluable feedback both from the technological testing side, and also from across our community of Evernauts.
We thank everyone who joined the live streamed event on our YouTube channel, or who invited family and friends to witness this slice of metaverse history in the making.
