Timmu Tõke is the CEO and co-founder of Ready Player Me, a cross-game avatar platform used by 4000+ companies. They’ve raised $72m from a16z and others. Timmu has been building avatar tech for 9 years, starting from hardware 3D scanners to custom-building avatar tech for top gaming companies.
Timmu talks about interoperability, bridging different styles of metaverses, AI and its impacts on the ability to build more user experiences at a cheaper, more efficient rate and why those who play video games are in a unique position to support the growth of this industry.
