Everdome received the news this morning that OKX will be delisting the $DOME / USDT trading pair at 8:00 am - 8:30 am UTC on January 12, 2024. Withdrawals will be suspended starting from 8: 00 am UTC on March 12, 2024.
This delisting information came as a surprise to the Everdome team, and unfortunately as reasons or explanations are typically not provided in advance for these types of situations - we are currently forced to live with this decision at the moment.
We are aware that the current market landscape is changing due to increased governmental oversight and compliance, and as a result some central exchanges are forced to change their approach in order to comply with these tighter regulations and restrictions.
However, while this delisting event is unfortunate, it does not impede our vision and ability to push forward in creating and launching supremely powerful metaverse experiences, building metaverse-as-a-service products to speed mass adoption, nor does it block other aspects of our collaboration with OKX.
Whilst we remain in discussions with OKX to understand the reasons behind the delisting action, and hope for a positive outcome, Everdome will continue to develop relationships with alternative listing partners as we keep to our goals of building a new digital platform and future together with our community, partners and metaverse pioneers.
In the meantime, $DOME remains available on Pancake Swap, Bybit, Gate, XT.com & Kanga exchanges.
