Celebrating Year Two of Everdome - The Party

Last week, the Everdome team and community celebrated two years of building in the metaverse together, with a special day of events to mark our second birthday as a project.

We kicked off the day with a review of Everdome’s progress over the last year, which included some big steps forward in building out and live testing the base alpha layer of our environment - as well as increasing access to all Genesis NFT holders and Landholders.

Our team also looked back at the launch of Spaces, our first Metaverse-as-a-Service application - which is now available for the entire world to test the waters of the metaverse in the easiest, most accessible way.

Spaces played host to a birthday metaverse meetup, as multiple team members piled in to celebrate with our community. Our CEO, Jeremy Lopez welcomed everyone to the party with a short address on our progress and goals.

Everdome also marked the occasion with the first announcement of a major new development - coming up on March 6th. Save the date, as this change will mark a new era for Spaces and Everdome City.

Gifts, presents and prizes are part of any good birthday.  To both reward the engagement of our pioneering digital explorers and to spread Everdome’s news far and wide, we also organised three competitions with a total prize pool of $2650 USDT.

Hundreds of community members piled in, with prizes to be announced later today. and tomorrow.

To win this competition Evernaunts created Spaces to mark their favorite Everdome moments. Some very creative Spaces were shared by our amazing community.

We rounded off the day with our largest single $DOME burn in recent months.

2 billion tokens went up in flames, adding to previous burns at the end of 2023 to total over $5 billion $DOME burned in recent months.

A year which will see emphasis on building product stability and scalability, increasing our reach and engagement, building powerful new partnerships as well as an exciting new focus.

We will work on creating a solid base environment to ensure Everdome will be a key player as the worlds of web2 and web3 merge and evolve together.

You will see Everdome take the most basic building blocks to create a strong foundation for increasingly engaging features and functionalities for our metaverse platform visitors and users.
