At the end of last month, Everdome touched down on the face of the Red Planet for the first time, with the drop of our Mars Landing experience representing the end of one journey… and the beginning of another.
A small step for man. A giant leap forward in the metaverse.
Everdome accepted the challenge of building something new in a radically different way. Creating something in the open, in collaboration with our community of like-minded believers in a metaverse future - ideating, building, testing and improving our experience together.
The whole team at Everdome was excited to see our Genesis NFT holders and Landholders jump into the world which we, collaborating as a team and community, breathed into life.
As our Evernauts made a landing on Mars, the average time in experience per user clocked in at 19 minutes.
We were also delighted to have our very first community meet-up inside Everdome City headquarters on Mars, welcoming those who have shared our vision from the start to celebrate together at Phobos Bar.
Our community was able to take in some inspiring views of a Martian landscape from our Magnetic Mars Railway which sped them from Jerezo Spaceport, under the gates of Everdome City, into the heart of our new digital civilization.
Here, we could congregate together in celebration, with people from all over the globe joining inside the metaverse to explore a new world.
Congratulations to the winners who shared our first community prize pool in our inaugural community get-together, and thanks to all who took part and shared footage, images and the experience of our metaverse environment.
However, our journey has not ended here. With the completion of our layer-1 alpha environment, Everdome continues to build.
Building out detailed, shared and immersive experiences across our environment, looking to draw others into a collaborative effort to create a digital future with the potential to be so much more than the web2 internet experience.
