Our 2024 Roadmap Explained - Part 3 of 3 - Into the Future

Our 2024 Roadmap in detail - Post Three of Three.

ROADMAP P3 (1).png

Taking in the final element of Everdome’s 2024 roadmap as we explain our new approach in more detail - moving towards a methodology centered around a more flexible model based on our five key business goals, also termed as objectives and key results (OKRs).

Everdome works on a dynamic mix of foundational building with alpha releases, iterations and first tests of our economy model, fused with longer term planning to ensure that our platform is robust, flexible and future proofed.

So today we conclude our three part series on our 2024 roadmap to look in some more detail at our medium and longer term vision and strategy.

Into the Future - Relates to our longer term vision, goals and projected areas for focus and growth moving beyond 2024. While we need to be clearly focused on specific shorter term goals, our team needs to keep an eye on longer term trends to ensure a future proofed, stable and viable platform for the longest possible future.

Introduction of AI & IP strategy & coming capabilities
We need to make sure we are ready for the huge change AI will bring. However, this change will usher in a new age of possibilities for web3 and beyond.

Everdome is already working on a series of concepts around AI, currently ideating and creating AI powered elements that will add engagement inside our digital world, while also working on AI tooling to make creation of metaverse showcases easier for users.

These can take various forms, as AI is a fast evolving landscape, we are working on adding features where they will have the most business impact on usability, engagement and growth of our metaverse destination.

Use cases in consideration are:

  • AI functionality inside our City Headquarters, presenting our ''Tree of Life'' as a sentient guide to all things Everdome, as well as giving hints, tips and guidance on best practice for creation inside the metaverse.
  • Improving the usability of our creator tools with our Metaverse-as-a-Service products, to enable faster and more refined content creation.
  • Creating AI powered NPC avatars across the environment to act as guides, promoters and audience members.

Our strategy around Intellectual Property is still in development, and will be the subject of some dedicated explanation in the coming weeks, but the overview takes three parts: Native IP, Commercial IP and User Generated IP.

  • Native IP relates to our in-platform creations built by Everdome and our team of collaborators.
  • Commercial IP relates to partner creative IP, movies, music & more
  • User generated IP is obviously the IP created by the visitors, creators and users of Everdome’s platform.

But how do these tie together with AI? And why is Everdome exploring this strategy?

As AI tools increase in power, the ability to transform, improve or alter existing creative IP content will grow - ushering in a new medium for creators to explore.

Commercial IP comes with massive followings and audiences, a ready-made community of dedicated fans and supporters who have in many cases already been creating their own versions through fan fictions and artworks.

We are very excited about the potential involved in using AI tooling and a metaverse platform to combine the IP of the present and past with future technology - supplying these huge audiences with a totally new format or medium for expression and creativity - empowering them to create new stories and experiences from beloved characters and well-known worlds.

However, it's not just about using AI to recreate IP in the metaverse - imagine being able to tokenize elements of creative IP, transforming these Real World Assets (RWA) into ownable, monetizable digital content.

2024 to focus on building foundations, testing alpha releases & validating use cases
This means that across 2024, as shown in our previous posts, we focus on building solid foundations to enable scalability, while constantly building in the open - allowing us to quickly test, refine and improve our essential functionalities throughout the year.

2025 to focus heavily on growth, user acquisition & creator/owner revenue generation features & models
As we move into 2025, we will take the vital foundational building and learning of 2024, using this to dramatically scale our platform and operations, building a wider audience far beyond web3.

It also means we will release further revenue generation features beyond our initial plans - with first looks at these coming up later in the week.

2026 highly focused on scaling revenue generation capabilities for creators, owners & Everdome
The correct order is to test, build, irate, release, gather our audience - and then look to  monetize them. Once our audience is built in 2025, 2026 would see full focus on scaling revenue generation and monetization elements across all areas of our platform.

Once again, we thank our community for their engagement in our roadmap and their support for Everdome. We welcome all feedback and discussions as we continue to build in transparency.

Stay tuned for more information coming up on our economy, and further detail on our strategy to combine AI tooling with IP for a truly transformational element to Everdome’s metaverse destination.
